Thank you so much! All of my pearls are described with any of the following terms: freshwater, cultured, shell, blister, nugget. All of these are pearls grown in an oyster or mussel with exception to shell pearls. Shell pearls are made from crushed oyster shells, also known as Mother of Pearl. Regarding the colors, the only natural colors are White, Pink, Lavender, and Grey. Any other color is dyed, and then sometimes grey pearls are dyed as well. All chocolate pearls are dyed or have had some type of treatment to get the brown color.
