ComfortDelGro was formed on 29 March 2003 through the merger of two land transport giants - Comfort Group and DelGro Corporation. In automotive engineering, the Group also offers specialised vehicle design and assembly and component re-manufacturing. In addition, ComfortDelGro Engineering offers unlimited vehicle recovery and towing service round-the-clock for its over 55,000-strong member base and is currently the authorised workshop for 15 insurance companies in Singapore. ComfortDelGro Engineering also sells diesel to the Group's 15,000-strong taxi fleet.
